I will be looking forward to seeing this. I have never paid any attention to them. If I get to go fishing I am going regardless.

There's only ONE good time to go.........when you get the chance.
The only real consistent thing I've noticed.....and I've never seen this written anywhere, nor have I recorded it in any way to really know if it's true.......is that around the full moon, it seems to get windier. Of course, if a front comes through, that changes everything. But all other things being equal, it seems windy around a full moon.
I do use the farmers almanac from time to time. It's not always dead on due to weather and what not. But i've learned that if it says poor, it's going to be poor. All the rest of the predictions, from fair to best, could go either way. The time predictions are usually pretty close too. But i'm with you guys. If I get a chance to go, i'm going regardless of what it says![]()
I believe in the full moon...3 days before, during, and after. After years and years of time on the water I can tell you my best fishing and often bigger fish are caught during this time of any given month and adds a little more excitement to my trips. But make no mistake about it I go as often as I can reguardless of any table they put out.
