    Default Two hours on Conway

Well, I had about two hours to spare this afternoon. So I decided to try my luck at Conway. I stopped at the bait shop on the way out and asked how they were doing, but the report wasn't very good. I went anyway and i'm glad I did because once I figured out what they wanted, 2" Slab Slayer in Electric Chicken w/ a red head, the bite was ON!!! I caught 9 in an hour and a half with the biggest going 13". The rest were about 10" with a few dinks, ended up keeping about five. I was fishing just off the bottom in about 6 fow. Not a bad couple of hours, for me anyway. I wish I coulda stayed, they were still thumpin when I left!

Sorry to hear that. I'm supposed to be going up there sometime soon. Maybe i'll just try to catch some kitties. I hear they're really on at horseshoe. I'm sure i'll have a jig pole close by though! Are there any cypress trees or good docks to shoot there? I've never been.
