Lake Nimrod

Fished Lake Nimrod a couple days this week, one day myself and Conway limited out. Went back the next day got a late start and caught 30 keepers before storm and wind... then more storms and wind drove us off the lake. Caught lots of small fish but also caught several good keeper sized fish. Fished main river drop offs and caught them on just about anything we threw at them. Fish were caught anywhere from 5-15 feet deep. I am am sure that the main river channel on Nimrod is the key right now to consistently catching fish. I have several spots marked along the river channel drop off's that I will verticle jig my next trips out there. We mainly trolled these two trips, but I do believe that I will catch some bigger fish this next Monday and Tues when I verticle jig the cover. It was good to see Some fellow C.comer on the lake Meatgetter and Nimrod see you next Monday and Tues weather permitting. Tight lines...
