    Default O! The cold water!

Well me and dad took my oldest boy small mouth bass fishing a couple days ago and had a blast up here in NEA! Those dang crappie are just gonna have to wait a bit cuz these suckers put on one heck of a fight! My son caught the biggest smallie me or dad have ever caught so we are gonna have it mounded and placed on his wall. He was all smiles rest of day! we caught 36 small mouth an had a good time in the cold clear water stream> Name: smallie1.bmp

Good job man. Think you made the right decision and it looks like the boys had a great time.

Good job on the bass. Glad someone stepped up to keep the population in check.

Never fished for smallmouth but sounds like fun. Those fat bass looks like some good eating too. Congrats to your son on the big fish. Congrats on your trip and catch.

I have fished that river all my life for those fighters and i think this is the first one we have ever kept! if i would have caught it i would have let it go but mr. chase wanted to bring home. according to agfc that fish is 10 years old! its as old as the little man that caught him. bitter sweet.

That will be one fish that will keep him fishing the rest of his life. Not a bad sacrifice at all. Looks like a lot of fun.
