I was on Lake Conway the last couple of weekends and I witness what appeared to be rookies to the lake screw up, I have seen 4 boats tore up in the last 2 weekends, Folks Conway is low, there are stumps in the boat lanes, stumps that you would normally not have to worry about if the lake was at normal level. A seasoned veteran to lake conway can still navigate the lake with out a whole lot of problems, however new comers and people who have not fished the lake for several years are at risk of doing some serious damage to thier boats and outboards, and trolling motors. I have been on the lake most all of my life and I know where these stumps are in these boat lanes, but someone new to the lake does not have a clue as to what lies just beneath the surface in some of these boat lanes. I aint telling you folks this to discourage ya'll from fishing Lake Conway, Conway is a great fishery, but I really dont want to hear about any one destroying a boat or worse getting hurt. If you see some one running across Conway at wide open throttle there is 1 of 3 things going on, 1. They are a season veteran, 2. They are not aware of the dangers just below the surface or 3. they saw someone else do it and think that they can do it also. Exercise extreme caustion on Conway right now and until the water level returns to normal. There is no fish or fishing trip worth getting hurt over. Also watch out for this heat, it will sneak up on you before you know its there. Hoping you folks the best of luck in you fishing endevours.

Sorry this for the long winded post, just thought everyone needed to know the lakes status.
