Great report! As Nimrod drops towards fall there are stumps just under the surface. I see folks risking life and limb very often, not even considering risk to equipment . I know this lake like the back of my hand, yet proceed with caution when it drops close to 342 msl. I see folks run through stump rows and fields on a regular basis. Watching a depthfinder is a false sense of security. We have stumps near the surface in mid lake within a few feet of 30 + feet of water!
I used to fish Conway years ago and have run the boat trails in excess of 50 mph. Better know the lake at normal to high levels. No way am I going to run it with low water period!
Fish and have fun but when water levels drop even on familar waters proceed with caution!
