I noticed the gas cap off when I got home. I filled up the tank that day before I headed out and must not have got it snapped shut lol. You know in a hurry to fish. Actually it was a mid day trip and the fish hit pretty quick and I didn't have time to get the umbrella out. Lost a few cranks but that's part of fishing. Thanks bro Harrell. I think plum was name of crank. I just bought about a dozen different colors to try.

The Golden river from redfield to pine bluff. Everything else too low or lily pad or moss infested. Got em figured out and it's close to home. Limits are to be had just gotta put the time in to learn it. Gonna try long lining soon on em. Just trying to be as versatile as possible. The bite has slowed somewhat with no flows on the river though which makes you gotta move more.

Got tired of driving to ms and not catching fish. Decided why not learn what is close to home. Can spend an extra 4 hrs fishing than driving. Got her down now. Nobody's help just good old time on the water. Learn something new every time I go. Didn't you used to fish it and gave up on it? The bite is not like what i have heard the ms lakes can be but I have yet to experience that either. Have up on the potholes. White river refuge has been good also and only 1 hr from the house.

That is pretty awesome to scout a body of water and find the fish in it. I tried to do that on the closest body of water to the house last Saturday. So far in the short time I've got to fish it, I found what I believe to be the best TROPHY Gar hole in the state of Arkansas. I plan to go back with heavier gear and try it again since I'm beginning to get really fish hungry.

Nice mess of fish on the cranks by the way.

Hey rcc, I spent my first 4 times to the water just looking never wetting a line. It's been paying off.
