I was going into McQuire, oxbow at Millwood---creek is entrance to the oxbow and a few stumps.----I hit a stump a glancing blow and for some reason I hit the throttle or the impact caused it. But the boat hit another snag and I lost a reel off my jig pole and broke the tip off---
Lucky I did not damage or overturn the boat----In there you need a gun to keep them gators off you if you fall in or overturn a boat. I guess I could have climbed a snag and waited for another fisherman to discover me---

It's stumpy going in there from what I remember and last time we was in there we saw about a 10 or 12' gator. It's just so narrow going in before it opens up and it was tricky dodging all the stumps in my 18' bass boat.
