Well that really depends on how big the structure is, I always weight my structures, the last thing I want is for it to be hooked while fishing and moved by me or someone else. Waypoints are no good if your structure moves.

Good point. So i tied a couple cinder blocks to it. Just a couple medium sized limbs the electric co left me the other day. I decided to sink em at conway and see what happens. Thx for the info.

Also depends on if they are green or dead. The bigger limbs, if green should go down quick enough with little added weight but I always add some. I know one thing for those that have ever tried sinking pallets they don't go down very easy! I give up on sinking them since they are so hard to sink. It's like trying to sink a cork, a big cork! I've sank them many times but I won't hardly try them anymore.

Yeah they're bad about hang-ups too. I got the limbs sunk, used cinder blocks. They're definitely not going anywhere! I tried to move them a little and they about pulled me in i dont recommend doing this alone!

Pallets are real easy if you know how to. Like it was said every sinking job is different. Green Persimmon trees will sink on their own but anchor (weight) needed to hold in place. Worst I've seen tried is dried trees or stumps. More dry and larger volume equals the need for more weight.
