Anything over 24 feet might extend out back a mite.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
The sheep live in fear of the wolf but in the end it's the shepherd that eats them.
The two loudest sounds are a gun that goes click when it is supposed to go bang and

Measure height from water plus about 18'' would be my guess.

I think 48 to 50 inches. There are sites that advertise trolling motors specifically for pontoons, look at brand sites, mine-kota, motorguide ect. Thrust is what I am interested in. We had a 24 foot barge, I put a little 35 lb on it one time and it was not near enough. We now have a 20 foot, a little newer and lighter. We are going to mount a 55 lb thrust 48 to 50 inch shaft. You can get a 55 lb-12 volt, when you go above 55 they are 24 volt.
Minn Kota has info on their site on how to determine the length you need for a given boat.
Something I found--Shaft Length Selection GuideMeasure down from the mounting surface of the bow to the water level*. Use this measurement and the table below to find the appropriate shaft length.
Bow to Waterline Recommended Shaft Length
0" to 10" 36"
16" to 22" 42" to 45"
22" to 28" 48 to 52"
28" to 34"" 54" to 62"
Total Boat Weight Motor Thrust*Add 5" to waterline measurement for fishing in rough water. Optimal operating mode is with engine trimmed all the way down
