    Default Pulling cranks..never boring

A friend and I pulled 300s on Greers Saturday Morning...it was as much fun as you can have without catching fish!... But this rascal grabbed one of those Bandits and started going sideways! when Robert finally got him to the boat he had one bandit in his mouth, a second stuck in the top of his head and a third stuck in his belly. Out of the 8 rigs we were pulling...he managed to take 6 of'em out the game...we spent the next 25 minutes untanglin' poles!

No fisherman or fish were harmed during incident

Sounds like fun. All those hooks. How many got you before he was free? I have trouble with one bait much less 6.

Bet you had fun pulling that big boy in while long lining. I am coming to Greers for a week over the forth of July to visit my parents. I would love to get my dad out to catch some crappie. I have my boat set up for trolling, pushing and spider rigging. My favorite is shooting docks. So my question for you gentlemen is. Is the bite still on there. Or has it died off. and what are some good areas to fish. Also what works the best. It's such a huge lake. I wouldn't know where to start. Dad is getting a little older now and doesn't get out much. Any info would be appreciated.

Your lucky, long liners here have to contend with those Green Carp plus Gar and durned old Catfish. Whether spider riggin , long lining , or jiggin like I do them rough fish can give you fits.

Wow I can only handle two Bandits at a time. I managed a half dozen Sunday morning from 8-10 here on the south end.
