    Default Roughing it on Ouachita

I* just got my tin teepee back home after a couple of weeks on BEAUTIFUL OUACHITA, the fish didn't cooperate as well as I'd hoped, but did manage to catch all I wanted to eat, thanks to fellow .comer Slabjunkie. That young man has a sharp hook, he humbled me a few times ......if it had not been for him, I might have still been wandering around the millions of small islands in the lower half of that magnificient body of water. A word of warning is in order, something about that water will shrink your clothes, I was careful to NOT get in it, some of the playgirl bunnys riding around in the pleasure boats obviously had spent too much time in the water and their bathing suits were down to postage stamp size...It will cause you to go blind..I'm going back as soon as I get my new glasses...)

Glad you got everything home safe and sound. Wish we could have caught a few more but the Big O can be tough at times. Let me know when you decide to come back over this way.

The fish were probably tearing it up. Xring probably couldn't see the fish swimming off with his jigRofl

I know what you're talking about on that shrinking kind of water. It's even working on the fish up here.
