    Default Fish report Overcup at Morriliton


    Went to Overcup today caught a mixed bag 5 crappie 15""nicest one 10 bream 2 Drum and a 3lb. Bass.We cast jigs in open water for Crappie fished the banks with bait for the Bream could not find any real big ones.We did not have a lot of company wind was bad at times then would calm down.Went to Conway Adams Landing yesterday fished the banks for Bream no good later went to Green Lake no good stopped at Pierce landing Game and Fish stocking truck was there guy told me he had just stocked 15000 1.5 "" Florida strain bass.Sorry all you guys have to work Retirement is wonderful and maybe if I keep at it I will catch Crappie like the Crappie Pro if I live long enough.Wife says I should stay home tomorrow maybe just a short trip grandson has ball game at five and I have fish to cook. KS

    Thanks for a report. Lots of boats out here yesterday. Had to have went up river , because it is bad windy when I refuse to fish.

    You fished three different holes yesterday? Lucky Dog. Enjoy that retirement. Everytime I think I am ready, my wife will tell me to do something. I have a good excuse since I am still employed.

    Me and a buudy went out to Overcup last Saturday and did pretty good ourselves. Fished from 3-8 and between the two of us we caught 12 brim, 3 nice bass and a drum. I caught the brim and he caught the rest. Never could find the crappie though. Plan to go back there in a few weeks. Thanks for the report!

    We caught the crappie in the middle of lake 10' of water with about a 8 count and slow reel back with 16th oz. jig head also used a white curly tail roadrunner.ks
