    Never tried it...this time of year there will be many boaters on the water.

    True that.... Tried it yday after the rain passed n never got bit.... Pretty much cover whole lake.... Talk'd to few guys said whole lake was slow yday..... Strange came from Sardis n cudnt keep them off hook n stop'd to try Horseshoe n didn't work.... Just wonder if a lake can have to many Places for fish to hide....:

    Tried it once as well, but it was just trying to get some stuff set up...Didn't have any luck either, but we didn't pull long. Didn't take long to cover the whole lake either....lol

    Horse Shoe isn,t that small. Takes me 10 minutes to go from one end to the other, At 55mph! Never tried crankbaits i use road runners spidder rigging they do pretty good but haven,t fished it since January.

    I know exactly how big horseshoe is.. Guess i was comparing to the coe lakes in miss..... I can get frm one end to the other in 12.265872 min doing 46.7936 according to my 99.99$ + tax gps....

    I've done it with good success. Started before the ditch down at the south end, and went well past Happy Jack, and back. We stayed a bit closer to the east side. They were all about 10" tho. Horseshoe Slabs. Lol

    Yep...Then 10"ers are show nuff some good eatn though! ......Kinda like crappie nuggets...lol

    havent tried the cranks yet. Have had good luck in the past pullin em. Word is they are in the pads at the top of the island.
