I bought the humminbird 570 di and I love it. I don't have anything to compare it to but I can see individual fish in between branches under water.

way cool. one problem with mine is the pics are coming from recordings not screen shots--screen shots are WAY better but I start recording as soon as I get on the water (can't take screen shots and record at the same timebanghead Also--at least yet--I haven't found the best conditions to use 800 yet--I always stay on 455. But as I am sure you do--I really love the DI

I read on the net that the di doesnt do well in water 8 feet or less...thinking about buying one, but I fish a lot of shallow water in NEA...like to hear what you owners think...many thanks...

notice the first pic I have posted--two branches sticking up out of the channel. Again-these pics are from recordings and viewed from Humviewer. On the screen on the water--it is much sharper--most of my fishing this time of year is in 1 to 5 ft of water and can see everything your would ever want to see.
I have no issues in shallow water--but that is my experience
