    Good job. I used to fish out of Crystal. But, since the moss disappeared, it has become a new lake to me. I fished around Denby earlier in the year for the first time. I really like that part of the lake.

    Yes since the moss has gonna the fishing has gotten a lot tougher imo

    How deep does a fellow need to fish, on Ouachita, this time of year...I plan a trip to the state park, in June...unless I hire a guide, I'll just be starting blind, check "out" some points, look for the thermocline....spider rig....

    Fish are holding 16-18 feet deep right now. You need to find some brush piles. If you are able to to do that then fish some points with standing timber that run off into creek channels.

    Thanks Slab, those are some nice fish, getting ready to retire, hope to become crappie ninja, and golfing weedhopper.....good luck w/summer fishing
