    Default white river weekend

Started out Friday morn on East Moon. Water has stopped running out and most of the lake is about 4 feet deep. The run out was good but slower than last week. Of course it was at a peak 3 weeks ago. Still we had little trouble catching 50-60 averaging about 10 inches. Some 8 , some 12. Saturday we hit H lake and escronges. Plenty of company but several bassing and Stated few bream fishing. We caught them off the banks but about 15-20 feet out from the bank. Slowed about 1 o'clock but we had a cooler full by then. Again mostly 10-11 inches. Left and hit prosperous bayou with a buzz bait. Slow but had a pair of nice bass and a whopper bowfin. Bream fishermen were wearing them out casting crickets about a ft. under a float next to the buckbrush. Sunday back at prosperous for some bassing on that buzz bait.bluebird sky is my excuse for poor results. Chain pickerel and a few crappie on a jig pole was it. Crappie were too scattered. Spider riggers were doing poorly too. Sorry for rambling.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
