ive seen it. i would think a trolling motor one would be in the works but you would need to be stationary(i think) to get a good accurate picture. which isnt conducive to having it on a trolling motor.

Man I love the concept of the new 360 imageing from Hummingbird... but it looks like a very expensive hydralic transducer for 2k that attaches to the back of your boat and you already haft to have one of a few select side image units in place for it to work. Ill almost bet that in a year or two Hummingbird will come out with a Depth Finder with 360 imageing and a tranducer that will mount to your trolling Motor. Imputs please, anybody going to buy into it. Just wondering.

I saw that myself....After having an SI unit for a couple of seasons I absolutely love the technology and use it everytime I'm out....but, to me... my 798 is plenty good'nuf. I can find all kinds of structure fast...Now if only I could catch fish when I find'em! tDon't get me wrong, I'd love to have one ...just don't see it putting you on the fish any faster for crappie fishing....maybe if you were out chasin' stripers..??..or tuna!
I think if I had that $2K ridin' on my trolling motor ... and I banged hard into into a submerged tree top (like I did on Greers last Thursday) I'd need to be carrying a change of underwear.
