Those are screen shots of hds 10. Amazing clarity of the structure and even fish. I can see schools of fish easily and single fish also.

As far as ease of use you tube is a great resource and makes learning very quick. I have them fined tuned the way I want now after 2 days of using.

He he he Bill, Confuscious say secret video make me better fisherman LOL. There is also a bassclub that I found that had a lot of settings for the lowrance. To be honest I can't remember. I basic searched side imaging and the Lowrance and watched everything I found. Went out and applied it to what I saw and man it is amazing what I know now, can see and find in the lakes. One setting was to make sure the unit is set to shallow water application and not general which they were set on, set contrast around 61-68 percent, keep the side imaging to 2.5 x the water depth so most of the time mine is set to 30 foot on each side of the boat, color pallate is dealers choice. I like the blue as shown in my images. There are some other settings that can optimize like 800 hz transducer for 80 foot of water or less too. Once I fine tuned the units man I was really surprised what I can see. The school of fish was really neat to see. No more dropping out bouys and being flogged by 10 boats. I just drop a waypoint and circle it now. If too many boats get close then I just move off the waypoint slightly or all together and drag the other guys off LOL. Hope this info helps I have a bunch more and will share them in time.

Give us the bass club site, I know the settings you just tolt me, but I only used those Gen 2's once before you stole em from me. Didnt need em that day in Sardis lower lake. Lol
