Hawg, I took your advise with the overtime. A few 16 hr work days add up. My camera should be in transit now.

    Hey guys,
New to the Shoe but Ive been in Memphis my whole life. Looking for advice on Shoe. I see that dock shooting is doing well. Im not asking for your hotspots just any advice you may offer. I fish quite often at the bigger lakes but Im trying to figure out these oxbows that are a little closer to home. Thanks in advance.

U just have to be able to reach the darkest part under the piers.... Try to fish close to the pier pylons/poles. Dont be scared to fish deep and slow... Work ur way frm pier to pier...... If u find a few good ens at a pier, give it a lil time. Ig not, move on.

    Hope this helps!!

X2. Caught 18 today doing that exact thing. Had 9 right at 2lb. each. Could have caught more, but I was behind Slab. He makes it tough. LOL.banghead

wind didn't pick up till around 11 or 12. By that time I was back at my cabin drinking coffee.
BTW, every single fish had eggs in them, not that was left from spawning, but full sacs ....go figure

I'll say one thing about slab, he moves fast and that little boat will scoot!!
Had to fish slow and long to catch what I did
