I think just about any fishing hole has been producing some crappie lately. I haven't heard any reports from Hogue lately but it should be OK.

I would head to wapanocca. If the crappie aight biting you should be able to get on some good bream. I heard a couple of reports from hogue last week and both were disappointing.

try lake poinsett.
X2 on wapanocca. If you fish the south end you should be able to stay out of the wind. A few weeks ago we caught bream and crappie. Get some minnows and some crickets and enjoy the day with her.Take a kid fishing, they will remember it for life!

Can't offer any help with the fishing. But it's great to hear of a daddy taking his little ones fishing. Wish my grand kids were close enough. But, such is life. Good luck with the fish.
If bradford isn't too far of a drive for sure go there... there's a place there called masons reservoir tht u can fish for $1.50 and u will wear urself out with crappie and bream... they aren't huge fish but its non stop action and its nice and small surrounded by woods so wind won't be an issue... went ther tues. And had a ball.
