Capps and Coleman were fishing out of an aluminum boat with a 130 yammie during the Washington tourney three weeks ago! My ProCraft 1773 is very stable in rough water. However, it is an older boat and I like the creature comforts and room of my newer glass boat. The ProCraft is pretty beat up but solid and reliable so I don't mind putting it in a ditch or stumpfield (ask Blue Thunder how many thousands of crappie, bream, and green carp have came over the side of that old ProCraft!). I came very close to buying a new 21 ft Walleye boat (aluminum) before getting the Triton and if I got a new boat now it might be aluminum but I still lean toward a center-console.
