Thread: My First

Caught my first fish from Greers today with a lamp ray on it. I have caught several from the White River with them stuck on their sides.

Bet they taste like fish. Lol

Dardanelle used to be full of those things, may still be, but I haven't caught a fish this year with one on it, I have caught bass with several on them in years past.

I've caught 2 Crappie with them on em already this year. They are ''Chestnut Lampreys''

They are some nasty little suckers!

Only got a dozen crappie this afternoon but I must have caught 30 whites and hybrids.

What kinda fish had the Lamprey on it?

Ones I've caught have always been on Crappie. They are not too many here as every spring we catch thousands of Crappie and only see 1 or 2 most years.

I wonder how those things get ahold on a fish?
