Thanks X-Ring, Yeah I had a good time. They didn't turn on until around noon till about 3:30 pm but when they turned on they were on fire. I'm still working on the deep fishing. I just bought a hummingbird 596c hd do unit for my trolling motor I'm hoping that will help me out with my deep vertical fishing. Trust me it can't hurt lol.

Yeah X-Ring its the same unit as yours except it doesn't have the gps. I have a 998 side imaging unit for the console with gps. Do you have a variable speed trolling motor with the digital maximized or whatever it's called? I've read they can interfere with the down image screen. I'm hoping it was an old problem that has been solved.

No, my trolling motor is a 5 speed motorguide, no interference problems with it.
