It was prolly the only reason I got the 12# cat in the net- cause my arm was dead in the end. That was the conclusion to an otherwise frustrating day for me and prolly bout 30+ other boats that figured we would be smart and beat the weekend crowd down to Midway. Gave up after 4 hours and nothin in the livewell- bah!! Didn't see anyone else doin anything either- what a dramatic change from my post from there on Tuesday-- crappie dissappeared!!

So, out of desparation- I wound up at Horseshoe on my way back home,and again caught ZILCH, until I was motoring along the front of the piers and my depthfinder went from 24' to 10'. The shad were uh, less see-- might need your help on this one Wannabe-- bout 14' of shad"""????

Had about a dozen minnows left, so shut down and wound up with 8 cats, the biggest obv the 12#er that the BnM rod gave me. I dunno where da crappie went, but at least came home with more meat that I could ever imagine they way it all started.
