Sorry to hear that Nimrod. I'm not sure why people do that either. I'm guessing they don't care about the waves, they're just slowing down enough to see what youre catching!

The wind was bad enough, bite was slower. But worst was all the boats who would slow to 1/2 throtle with bow in the air and/or folks sitting on the bow. I thought we made a wrong turn in to the gulf of Mexico. Why can't folks run by up on plane or slow down enough not to plow the water washing everyone on the bank?
But today was very slow and size was not good either. We managed our limits but it was one of the worst days this year on the lake. I hope since this is the 1st of the month it does'nt stay like this.

All them what plowed by you today had close kin over on Dardanelle today..dayum!!!
I went today and found someone had marked with a jug some bamboo that I had dumped. I appreciate them being so kind as to help me out and put a marker so I can get on my structure faster. Wind was turrrrribbble.
Hey RCC- was it out from Deckleman or the ones in the Dam cove? I know that those I put out have been found.

It's a small lake and they'll all be found, but they don't need to be flagged where everyone will fish them. Dumbest thing I ever did was throw a maker in while dumping brush on about a 20 deg day. I had already dumped one load and rolled up the marker and the string had frozen. The second stop the marker sank and I went ahead and dumped anyway. I'm sure the string unthawed and the marker unrolled. When I went back a couple weeks later there were multiple boats on it.![]()
