Well my fishing buddy wanted to go get in he action so I loaded up the boat and headed out again. We got to our spot and dropped the poles out and they were slammin them pretty good. We started out fishing about 3 foot deep but soon moved our jigs shallower and the bite picked up even more. We fished 12 inches deep in 7 fow and had a blast. Saw another fishing buddy there and he had put a hurting on em too. Colors today were white and yellow and silver/chart. We trolled around 1 mph.

Great catch J.W.!! Those are some good slabs. If you don't watch out Autumn is gonna be takin over the boat and putting you in the back, LOL !! BTW, That's exactly how I was catching the big one's out there last Saturday. I think some of the other fishermen out there were having a hard time believing that I was fishing only 12 inches deep in that 7 ft water and skimming along at 1 mph but that's exactly how it was. The Crappie were hitting and inhaling those jigs like feeding sharks!! They actually took my jig and broke the line twice before I could even get the rod out of the holder. Get 'em while its hot....there's another fairly local lake just fixin' to bust loose in another week or so!!

Had some guys ask me too how deep. They changed and started catching some. Autumn had a blast and i did too watching her. She kept saying "dad hey are biting too quick" as we had double and triples on. She would reel one up, swoop it ip in the boat and hand me the pole. I was constantly taking off fish seemed like.

Fine fish and a fine little partner too. One of these days they gonna have to let me loose from work long enough to find some of these good fishing holes y'all got here.
