Shane - I use tite loc and crappie pole from Grizzly Jig. It's a good all around rod. I am sure every body will chime in. When I asked that question 10 years ago I have been paying ever since

I use driftmasters and some home made tite-lok look alikes. Both work well. Those Hi-tecs really look good. If I were to try some new ones, it would be the hi-tecs just because of how clean they look when installed.

I sell the Hi Tek, Tite Lok, and Driftmasters. Don't buy that plastic Wally junk!!!! I've used all of the above three, and I like the Tite Lok best, but all three are great holders, and all thee have their pros and cons. I'm fixing to carry the Cumberland Crappie brand also. Got some demo's and they have a holder similar to the Tite Lok, but the left and right adjustment is much more precise with the gear they have on them. Can't wait to use them!!!!

Call or PM me if I can help you get a few sets of any of these four brands.

i use tite lok's with the 2" stands...extremely sturdy...the only knock i've got on them is the side to side adjustment, it would be nice to be able to make adjustments in smaller increments...also the plastic wing nuts that tighten the rod holders are bad to strip out...i solved that problem by just twisting the plastic completely off the bolts, some of the bolts are allen head so i keep an allen wrench in the boat in case i need to make adjustments...once you get em adjusted, you hardly ever have to move them
