    this rain. Man, it is pouring here in Cabot. I could run a jig three inches deep in my front yard.

    You wouldn't get any bites. All crappie are 25+ feet deep now.

    I sure didn't, I got chased off the lake myself here on Hamelton today. My fault for not going earlier though, had to run into town for the wife and just didn't get out there early enough. So far no crappie in the boat though, same old, same old. My buddy told me he was thinking of heading to OK about Monday. I almost told him I'd make the drive over and meet him at his house to go with but it's a long ways....Shame I can't find the crappie over here. I don't know how many folks I've heard say wait til late March and then they will bite. THEY WILL BITE NOW IF YOU GET AROUND ANY! It rained about a 1/4" here today, just enough to chase us off the lake, small hail and bad lighting to go with so staying out there wasn't part of the equation for me.
