    Agrihawg, I've cleaned thousands of bream with one since I was a teenager. My brother-in-law got me started on them. Never used one on crappie though. Always scaled or filleted um. May try next time on a smaller crappie. You have to know how to cut and prepare the fish, before you start with the skinner though, or you won't have success with the tool.     I've got one, but by the time you get the fish to where you can use it, you could have filleted it and gone on to the next fish!! Or I don't know how to properly use it!!!
    My wife keeps saying I never listen to her....... or something like that!

    This video shows one of these being used...The video isn't great...but they show one of these mounted on a table top with a crank atteched...the skinnin' starts about 3:30 minutes in.

    I have one of these....it works ok but filleting is just as quick IMHO...
