    Is the fishing still good around Gold Creek? Been real sick and haven't been able to go. Hoping to get out there this week.

    I've heard it's been a bit slow, but most places have been with the cold we've gotten the past few weeks. With the warm weather this way it should pick up quite a bit. I figure we're looking at an early spawn too, with the way it's been mild all winter.

    We ended up catching a few decent crappie out there today. Fishing was slow but we caught them in 6"-4' of water using a jig under a cork. It was nice to get out of the house. Sooner or later i'll figure out how to catch a limit.
