    Default A few from Friday....


    Below are a couple of pics from Friday.... I caught these in about an hour at the small lake here at my house. Was swimming a 1/8" jig through emerging lilly pads in about 3 ft. of water. Just a few of the females had a trace of eggs left so I guess the spawn is over here..... Caught another 10 or so each day on Saturday and Sunday but they had slowed down with the bright sunny skies as the water is very low and clear right now.

    I tell you what, my wife got me that fish cleaning table for my birthday and I believe that is one of the best presents that I have ever recieved in my life. I know I will also use it alot this winter to clean ducks on. If you clean alot of fish they are with out a doubt worth the money!

    It is really handy to be able to walk out the door and fish for an hour or so anytime you want, but I also get bored fishing the same place over and over after awhile so it is also nice to get away from home and try new places as well..... Especially since when I'm fishing at home my wife can come out on the porch and yell at me to get out of the boat and get back to mowing he yard! :D
