    Name: huge crappie.jpg
Views: 1142
Size: 25.1 KB There was an earlier thread that asked about a big crappie. This is the picture that I received. Supposedly it was caught out of Lake Conway and weighed 5 pounds 1 ounce. Don't ask if its real because I couldn't tell ya :p

looks a little "fishy" to me in the area of his right hand...around the tail...looks like his hannd is behind the fish holding a shorter fish with a photo-shopped finger over it. But who knows could just be a weird angle, im no photo expert. I hope it is real, I would love to see that bad boy in person
He said, "Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some." When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.

I've seen this picture about a year ago:

    4 1/2 Lb Crappie

This story says caught in Southern Illinois back in March of 2010.

Maybe he released it into Lake Conway for spawnin' purposes and just happen to re-catch it a year later. Then took a picture wearing the same jacket...and hat...

You'd think a hand would use more firewood over a year than that ole boy did though...

Thanks for posting the pic. It is a big fish. But 5#? A long way from it's home waters though.
