Saturday Fishing Report

I suspect today (Sunday) will be a killer day for crappie, and sadly I'm hard onto yard work all day. My wife and I fished Little Maumelle River Saturday for 6 hard hours. Caught three little catfish. Fishing was terrible. Talked to a lot of people on the river. Nobody was catching. We fished jigs, minnows and a friend with us was searching for bream using crickets. Hell, never even saw a bream. But it was beautiful day and very enjoyable being out, although my wife did say: "Next time why don't you just say 'let's go for a boat ride.'" Such faith!

How did it go for everyone else? Give details i.e. where etc.

I only caught 1 crappie at Ouachita yesterday, and that was at the dock. Not even a bass out on the lake, but we didn't get to fish morning or evening. The lake was up about another foot from all the rain. Maybe next time!

I fished Peckerwood on Sat. Could not find a fish of any kind!
