Default A few good limits today.....

A few of us went out today to dust off some tournament gear and took some kids with each of us. Results were good and the kids had an awesome time. It was good to get them out of the house and from in front of the video games and tv. Everyone reached a limit with a few bass and bream to boot. Fish were typically post front patterns and the lake we were fishing had a hard fall to it. Colors of the day were Midsouth white/chart and a solid glow white fished on an orange head.

Hey,,Thats great that the kids got to go enjoy the fishing, and looks like it was a good day for all. Lots of good eating on the ground there.

We do an annual fish fry every February for the local firemen and police officers. These will all go to a good cause to show appreciation for their efforts. The kids make it worth while and they laughed and had a great time. I prefer to take the younger ones when fish are still deeper and not spawning and spooky, you know how kids can get pretty loud in a boat, lol.

Good job, Dennis! Great to hear stories like that. Not only investing in the lives of the kids, but at the same time saying thank you for what you do to the firemen and policemen! Now that's good stuff! :Hands Clapping Big mess of fish like that is just a big plus too!
My wife keeps saying I never listen to her....... or something like that!
