I'm from Batesville and fish out of a 17'8" Gatortrax boat, counting the 1'8" floatation pod on the back, with a 36hp Prodrive motor. This was a duck hunting rig which is just perfect for crappie fishing the old river or oxbow lakes on White River and Black River. I also fish some fish Greers Ferry, some of the Mississippi River lakes, Maddox Bay, Old River Lake, and Lake Greeson, Hamilton or Ouachita once a year, and occasionally somewhere or anywhere else.
Andy mc. I have a g3 custom with a 25 hp. I live in maumelle and fish all over the state. Always looking for slabs and addicted to the thump
Mike, from Fayetteville. I fish from a Hobie Outback kayak and fish Beaver lake mostly. I straight line jig mostly but I'm learning long lining and spider rigging. I always fish by myself but not always alone. Several yak fishing friends to fish with. Usually get to fish 75 to 100 times a year. I get to go to Ms. once or twice a year to Grenada or Sardis. Just love that crappie fishing. I want to bream fish, stripper fishing and even catfish but every time I get ready to go I wind up crappie fishing.
Jerry, from Rosboro (between Amity & Glenwood). I almost always fish Degray Lake out of either Brushy Creek or Alpine Ridge boat ramps. You'll catch dad and me fishing out of an older Ranger. We're big fans of drowning minnows, but we're slowly working on using jigs more. We're usually hovering over crappie condos...a la "Jerry Blake Style".
Josh here in Benton. Fish out of 1650 xpress with 40hp nissan. Love to fish anywhere they are biting but plum bayou is my go to choice. Yoyos are usually my weapon of choice ha!!

Richard from Conway. Tightline jigs on Conway winter fishing mostly
Aso Richard from Conway. Fish from a Pelican sit-on-top kayak. Usually fish Lake Conway, Lake Beaverfork, and when visiting family down in Star City I'll fish a little out of Cane Creek Lake.
Nathan in Madison County posting for first time here. Originally from Conway where I learned to catch crappie down by Toadsuck with slip float and jigs. Caught a few on Beaverfork and, of course Lake Conway. No crappie to speak of in Madison County, so I'll have to venture out to lakes Beaver, Leatherwood, Elmdale to try and catch some. Been having a little luck catching bluegill in Lake Hindsville w/ an ultralight set up and tubes here recently. Glad to be here.

Tommy here in Jonesboro. If you see a fella driving a red dodge dually and pulling an alumacraft at the boat ramp, it's me. Come on over and tell me what they're biting. :fish Oh, and I am a faithful crappie slider fan but now... if a fella was to introduce me to those meatgetter jigs, I might change my evil ways. :biggrin
Hot Springs Village...... mostly long line RR's in the "red devil" stick steer for slabs in the local and area lakes!
When on Conway I fish out of a 2-man pelican or a 16 ft flatbottom
With a mercury 25 4 stroke. Depends what part of the lake I'm on.
With this mild weather had a really good year getting a limit most
Every trip.
Ok, David here from Lacey, Drew County. I'm not new to the site I just began to comment a little. I appreciate the information you guys provide on this site. I try to fish at least once a week usually on Mondays. Southeast ark, and northeast la is where I fish mostly. My favorite spots are along the Mississippi river when the water levels are right, Paradise, Katie Adams, Pot hole, Woodstock, mud lake, old river, Carolina, the rock pile, are just a few of the spots. I also love to fish Poverty Point Reservior, Delhi La in early spring. I good old stanby in this part of the country is Lake Chicot seems to be having a comeback year this year. My fishin partners and I have been know to take a road trip on occasion to Granada miss, Lake Conway, Lake Ouachita its on those trips that I look for information on this site. Alright I've said enough I love to talk about crappie fishin!!! I look forward to reading your comments daily.
