    Default Weather and Crappie

Any opinions on what the storms of the past couple of days will do to the fishing for Saturday?

not sure but I do know that they still bite if they get wet in a rain.

Keep us posted on how you do this weekend.

    Default Conway

DM - I was thinking of Little Maumelle River but fishing report in the Democrat-Gazette said the crappie are poor there. How has Conway been? Have you heard? Where are they catching them?

Crappie excellent in deep water on Nimrod this week. :D But put my boat in the shop yesterday. I've had 6 offers , people wanting to loan me a boat. I just don't like borrowing another fisherman's rig. Looking at 2+ weeks getting mine back ! May guide someone for a trip cause don't want to be responsible for the boat. Won't let them carry GPS on the trip . It's going to be tuff without mine for that long. Considering purchase of a backup boat. I usually fish 3 to 6 days a week , may go through withdrawl if I don't fish !

I have thought about it . But not for hire at present. My woman tried to get me to and offerred to set up a web site. I do some for friends and relatives. I take several outdoor bussiness owners and their employees hunting and fishing. They usually help with baits , boat supplies , and such. Right now , my outboard motor is down . I usually fish several days a week. I'm strickly a jig fisherman when crappie fishing anymore. The crappie are biting well this week. I might consider taking someone out if they furnish the boat. But I ask that they not take GPS ,as I have a lot of time and money invested in condos.I've had half a dozen offers to loan me a boat , but rather not.
If you want to fish it could be arranged if you have a good boat. You need a good trolling motor and depth finder. We move around alot and hold over condos with trolling motor. The depth finder helps as GPS only gets us within several feet. Are you interested in fishing Nimrod ? All reports are good this week.

I am pressed for time right now, but if I see a break I might take you up on your offer. Thanks
