Default Do you ever get through

Welp,,I am going to skip a day fishing, it hasn't been that grand anyway,,at least, not for me...I see some on here never have a bad day....thats why I fish so hard,,I wannabe.....like them..lol

I have decided that Triton Boats engineers are all short little fellers and they sit the boat seat pedestals to danged close to the bow, not allowing ample leg room for us long legged guys...so I am going to change that without cutting more holes in the deck..I have a idea on what I want, now just to get'r'done.

Although spider rigging will probably never become a favorite method of fishing for me, a rod holder would certainly help on these cold days when the fingers and hands hurt from tthe cold and ole author...them ridus boys are mean. Would be nice to stick them in my pockets to warm. So am thinking of rigging something that would be effective without marring the complection of my boat...

Any idea's you may have will be considered and possibly used in the "complete crappie boat" Then I'll be sure to catch big ole crappie everytime I go out,,,Right??? lol

Have a good day, make someone smile.

For the rod holders look at the Hi-Teks. A small mounting plate with 4 screws is all that attaches to your boat. http://hitekstuff.com/

    A
s far as leg room look at one of the off set seat post that may give you enough room with no changes to your boat.

I'm looking up the hitechs now in my grizzly catalog..the offset seat posts won't work for me though, if I ever sit that low,,I'll be a permanate fixture in the boat...can't get up from that low position!

Hi-tech is what I have Don. And you can call him and he will make your riser a little longer but not so long that you will have too much leverage.
    It ain't nuttin but luck.

It needed both, but remedied the taller already with a power pedestal,,which was too tall, bought next size,,which was too short,,added a section and heigth is now taken care of...may have it all figured out, need to find a piece of 1/4" stainless plate 6"X11"...will drill 3/4" hole, use 3/4 bolt to go into existing base, bolt tight, use 3/4" pin,,upright off of said plate 5" back...have some pedestal posts so modified,,female bushing in each end...that should make for a comfortable safe platform will additional leg room...what do you think?

Don, I have used the offset Creek posted and they work great. Have them in two of my deerstands too to give me more leg room. I bet you can find those local. Seems like I've seen them at Academy, but I may be wrong. Marine dealers ought to have them. Last one I bought, I gave $25 for. Looks like they've gone up.
My wife keeps saying I never listen to her....... or something like that!
