    Default Horseshoe

Anything happening at Horseshoe? Been doing too much duck hunting and not enough crappie fishing lately. The way my luck has been, I'm begtter off sticking with the crappie!

Caught a few Sat trolling. Fish quit when the north wind started blowing. Probably picked back up in the afternoon, but I couldn't stick around.

the sunny skies this weekend might help, but there will be a north wind.

Thanks Billy E and Creekslick. I'm an arkie native from Glenwood but lived in the Conway/Greenbrier area for several years before moving to Memphis. Looks like it will be another 6-9 weeks before released. Hopefully just in time for the spawn on Greeson.

I've heard a lot about Greeson but when we bass fished over there I noticed deep, clear water with what seemed like no brush??? I wouldn't know where to start. I'm going to have to spend more time on the water but when you troll over as much water as I did in the 2 days on Degray and only come up with 4 fish it gets frustrating....bad when you catch more bass crappie fishing than you do crappie and makes me think they aren't there?
