    Nice,,I have never been to sardis,,it appears in all photo's I've seen to be dingy to brown water all time?

    Yes, Sardis is not clear at all. When I filled up the livewell the fish disappeared in it, lol. We caught most of our fish on minnows but that is mainly all we fished with.

    It will clear up some in the summer but not anything like the deep lake here in Arkansas. So will Enid but Bula and Grenada tend to stay stained all the time.

    Butla and Grenada are mud holes but they have some big crappie. Cant wait to pull some cranks down there this summer. Hey xring - Its not the brown water to worry about, its the rough water. It is not for the weak hearted. I fish Sardis and Butla most and will drive 25 miles from the dam on the road to keep from making a 3 mile boat ride to my fishing spot when the wind gets up. Also its a shorter trip for me to drive than going to Conway or your lake. Nice catch Handi.... I am glad to see you got out.
