Believe me , Those waves will break up an aluminum boat. I've lost count the times my boat has been welded in it's 25 years on the water.
Xring save your entergy cause there will be better days to fish. Old buddy you need to give them Dardanelle Crappie a rest. Your doing the Crappie the way I used to chase Turkey in my youth. My dad told me once to let up or they would be poor from running.

Thing that hurts my feelings the most is days off, three this past weekend, and difficult conditions, and then the first day back on the clock and weather and water look like some catching could be going on.

The wind was horrible yesterday. We went out on lake Conway and only caught two fish. First and fourth cast then that was it. Both my fishing partner and I are new to crappie fishing. We were using pink/white jigs under corks casting around structure. Would the crappie not be on wind blown banks around structure?

We were in Gold Creek at first then moved to Greene Lake behind the nursery pond. Needless to say we were the only ones over there. Obviously was a reason for that too. Im starting to get hungry for some crappie. Caught a bunch at Ouachita last year sight fishing with drop shots and gulp minnows. That was real fun!
