You can't tell where you may find crappie this time of year, I caught these in a area on lake Conway known for its spring bite, I guess because it has yet to get cold the fish are still scattered out. They were biting pretty good, got some good quality crappie and a couple of gills to boot. I caught a few small drum while getting my limit of crappie, on a 11' crappie pole them drum were fun to catch, they would occasionally get me around a cypress root or a log, that was no fun but all in all, a good day.
