Got my limit again today, I am liking the spot I have found, as far as I can tell there is nobody else fishing this spot, it's rare to find a place that no one else has found, makes a person feel good about their skills for finding fish.
Well they were up off of the bottom today, they were only about 3' deep, pink/char was the color of choice,
The fish seemed to be roaming a lot today, I was casting and retrieving my jig under a cork at a moderate speed. It was not until my jig came across a stump or bumped a lay down log that I would get bit. The fish had seemed to migrate away from the cypress trees to closer to the bank, I am thinking it has to do with the warmer temperature.
