Went out and sneaked in a limit after the Christmas gift festivities today, They were a little slower about biting today, it took me about 3hrs to limit out. We did have fresh crappie fillets for Christmas night supper, they was good eatin I guarantee. I had enough for the whole family. It was not the traditional Christmas dinner but I will take it over a old turkey or what ever a traditional Christmas dinner is.

I never want to try turkey, a goose was bad enough, I made a cast one day and it was a little to long, it went into the grass on the bank, I tried to jerk it back and apparently there was a nesting goose in the grass I could not see, and when I jerked to get my bait back, I was actually setting the hook on a goose, thats a fight nobody wants, that goose went bizerk and I was using braid, there was nothing I could do but to try and catch it, and I did, she whooped on me pretty good, but I was able to remove the hooks without any permanent damage and release her. She went back to her nest and all was good. It was the surprise of the day.
