They work for yellow bass and white bass, crappie never get the chance to bite it,

This one hit a bettle spin in Florida! Should work anywhere. Bream and White Bass like them also.

Most all lures has their place and time to catch..
Sometimes a beetle spin is hard to beat in catching,at times I will cast a beetle spin all day.Its not my go to bait but I know I have it in the bag just in case thats what they want.I use the larger blade with either a 1/32 0r 1/16 and 2in 0r 3in. curly tails, seen days were the beelte spin and 1/32 jig head with a 3 in.curly tail filled the cooler.

I've jigged a road runner before and caught some, I guess the flash of the blade got there attention.
