    Default Singing A Few Tunes

Hey...Saturday Dec. 17 at 6:00 pm I'll be singing a few country and blues songs at the Horseshoe Bend Music Thearthe, in Horseshoe Bend, Ar.
    Admission is free.
I'd love to meet any of our crappie.com members, and talk some crappie over some coffee, if any of yall live nearby.
Horseshoe Bend has suppose to be a good crappie lake there called Crown Lake. Someone I think made a post about Crown Lake awhile back about catching afew there.
I hope this is not deleted or I get a infraction, we have no off topic forum for Ar. I have no monetary gain in this, it's all free to the public once a month.
I use to be a full time musician for years, and I still play and sing some here filling in for bands in the clubs and thearters.

Yea I love blues to. I'll probably startout with one blues tune, and if they act they like it I'll do more.
Sometimes they don't respond to blues much if it's not up tempo with a heavy beat. Shoot I like it all...

i've seen an ad in an ozark magazine about the show. are you in the picture? the picture is on the front of ozark gateway magazine. it has roger fountain who is a great fiddle player and a small girl playing a fiddle and a man playing a guitar and a young man playing the bass. i've seen the young man playing up at mt. view and i'm telling you he is something else on the bass. he was still in high school up there when i first saw him playing on the square and at one of the shows at mt. view. i have a cd by rodger fountain.

to bring in big Nashville country singers, but now it's just has beens like me...lol
It's a very nice looking place, and draws pretty good crowds.

Crappie Cowboy, if I were closer than SC I be there for sure! cheers

I love listening to live music. I play guitar and my dad plays the drums. We've got a little small gig band that practices every Thursday night. It's four of us total. We've only been playing together for a couple months and we aren't great, but we have fun. We are going to try to start a youtube channel before long. I'll have to let you know when we get it up and running. You'll have to check us out and give me a honest opinion...any advice would be greatly appreciated. We play a little bit of everything.

Good luck with your show...wish I could make it.
Hooking up every chance I get!
