Default Dardanelle kicked my tail today

Fished 5 hours on Lake Dardanelle today, it was tough fishing, water was a good color, very little wind, the crappie just didn't cooperate, we kept 17, mostly 10/12" FISH,,I think my partner kept one dink...lol Well,,one of us did,,and I can't believe it was me...lol Short strikes all morning,,never lost so many hooked fish in my life, the day started well with a largemouth bass of about 4#, which I released...didn't want to mess up my cooking oil with a bass...lol kidding, I don't care for the bigger bass and you can't keep the good eaters on Dardanelle...15 inch minimun.....a better day is coming...

We all get humbled occasionally, that's why it is called fishing and not called catching. Ha Ha HaRoflRoflRofl

150lbs trotline string that should do the trick.

Don't feel bad , Peanut and I fished most of the day. Caught little under 1 limit and released a bunch of Bass. It was tough and man I hurt from the cold.
