    don't know if its the right name or not but we have always called them river crappie around my area.

    Thats a great story and name for those Fish. Your Dad is too COOL! We called 'em "Racin' Crappie" since they have a Racing stripe. I believe its just a white Crappie with funny pigment. Its been discussed several times on the main board. seeya, Don
