Today will probably be the last good day to fish for a while so I made myself go fishing this morning. I was by myself today since xring got his boat out of the shop. The bite slowed a little and the fish were a little smaller, mostly 11-12 inches. I got my limit fairly early and started culling but bigger fish was hard to come by. Still fished the 10-12' water. It was really still and the lake was like glass so I began to swim a jig under a floater for a while so I could stay back away from the brush. . Not my favorite way to fish.Tight lining is by far my favorite. These fish are in 10- 12 fow but staying right on the edge of 30-40 fow. Then here come xring in his boat. We exchanged valuable information for a while, he finished out his limit and we was home by 1:00 PM. Another awesome day.
