    Got to ask this question,,longlining jigs, I assume your trolling,,with big engine or trolling motor?

    I am just using a single jig either 1/8 or 1/4. Tried 2 but stayed hung all the time.

    When longlineing jigs I use my trolling motor. I try to keep my speed at 1.0 mph. When I pull cranks I have a 9.9 hp kicker motor I use.

    How do you figure yer line out with the spinning reels?
